I’ve been playing around with the ePub format lately and tried this with Brick pattern.

When I’m on the go, PDFs work great in iBooks or GoodReader on my iPhone, but I need to adjust the zoom and fiddle with it a bit to get the best view of what I’m doing. ePub version may be kind of plain, but I can easily adjust the font size and just the whole general readability increases much more on the small screen.

Anyway, the PDF version is provided free on Ravelry, but if you have a smartphone that supports epub format, try it!

Spring Leafy Beret

Ever since I started seeing the mini-leaf lace pattern and making Leafy Shrug, I wanted to making a hat out of it. There are some such patterns, perhaps most notably Foliage from Knitty, but I was wondering if the  decrease on the crown could be less noticeable. I decided to see if I could make one myself and I came up with this pattern.

Knit in all lace, it’s perfect for the spring — thus the name! 🙂

This little scarf  was kind of an improv “design” I did 1-2 years ago. I didn’t think of it much until recently I wore it when meeting a friend and she loved it so much. She’s been waiting for a knitted item from me so I told her I’d give it to her, but I thought I’d write up a pattern before that. Fortunately, I have some notes I jotted down in my Google docs. Raglanify! – raglan sweater pattern generator

A super-late announcement, but as some of you know already, I’ve launched another app, Raglanify, which generates raglan sweater patterns. It is available in all mobile Apple devices (iPhone/iPad, iPod Touch) and most Android devices.

It was launched late December and it’s been getting great feedback, as well as some not-so-great ones about what it still lacks. Some of them are metric measurements/needles (now included!),  yardage requirements, and more custom measurements.
